Daniel Gustav Cramer

While everyone is talking about the Jeff Wall article in the New York Times, I stumbled upon an older, by a few handfuls, post on Conscientious about this German photographer D. G. Cramer. I am blown away by these quiet landscapes, they have everything I really like about a successful photograph- a deep sense of mood, ambiguity, and a sort of narrative. They are powerfully silent.

Land of eternal sunshine.

Just got back from spending the better part of last week in LA, a city that I thought I was going to hate but loved instead. I have a load of film that I am super excited to develop and as soon as it is I will have the pictures posted. I met some new friends and got to see some old ones while i was there, thanks once again to Lisa and Lian. And, congratulations to my friends Mario and Leanne, they done got hitched and it was beautiful.

viva LA, fuck winter.
